Bill Smith

Bill T. Smith Jr., born in Panama City, Florida and has been practicing law in Boca Raton for over 42 years. 

He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in 1973. Mr. Smith earned his Juris Doctorate from Nova Law University in 1978. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1978, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals in 1980, U.S. District Court, Southern District of Florida and U.S. Court of Appeals in 1979, Supreme Court of the United States of America in 1981, United States Court of International Trade in 1992, and the United States Tax Court in 1980. He is AV rated by Matindale Hubbell's peer review ratings. He is an authorized agent of Old Republic of Attorneys' Title Fund Services LLC (since 1980). He was appointed to the South Florida Regional Transportation Authority by Governor Jeb Bush and served from 2003 - 2008. He served as mayor of the City of Boca Raton from 1993-1995 and a Council Member from 1987-1995.

He practices in the areas of areas of estate planning, real estate, probate administration, trust administration, guardianship administration, land use, zoning and governmental relations.  He also provides fiduciary services and act as trustee, personal representative, attorney in fact, etc.
